Imagine sailing the turquoise waters of French Polynesia with a small crew of like-minded adventurers—friends, and friends of friends—sharing laughter, meals, paddleboards, and sunsets. You’re island-hopping on a sleek charter catamaran, waking up in different lagoons each day.
Raiatea, Taha'a, Bora Bora... maybe even Huahine.
But then, someone points north across the sea and says:
Ah yes—Tupai. The heart-shaped island. A tiny, uninhabited atoll floating just 10 nautical miles north of Bora Bora, looking like it was plucked from a dream and dropped into the South Pacific.
Tupai is more than just an Instagram-worthy shape (though it is ridiculously photogenic). It’s remote, wild, and rarely visited. There are no hotels, no roads, no shops—just a double-ringed island with a shallow lagoon inside, white-sand beaches outside, and a surreal stillness that hits you in the chest.
Most tourists will never step foot on it.
But we’re not tourists. We’re sailors. Dreamers. And we’ve got a floating home that can take us there. So… Can We Actually Go?
Technically? Yes. Tupai is within range. If the wind and weather are kind, and if we’re all up for it, it’s just a couple of hours of smooth sailing from Bora Bora.
But practically? It depends. Our weeklong itinerary already includes: Raiatea, the spiritual heart of Polynesia (and our starting point); Taha’a, the vanilla island, with its coral gardens and drift snorkeling; Bora Bora, where that famous mountain keeps watch over the bluest lagoon you've ever seen; Huahine? If the breeze is good and the crew’s feeling adventurous, we might push east to explore this lush, off-the-beaten-path island too.
Every island has its charms, and every guest has their own rhythm. Some like to move fast, others like to linger.
So whether we make it to Tupai will depend on group vibe, weather windows, and our collective sense of adventure.
And That’s the Beauty of Sailing
A charter catamaran isn’t a cruise ship. There’s no rigid itinerary, no shuffleboard tournaments, no horns announcing dinner. There's just us, the sea, and the flexibility to chase the moment. If the stars align—and the crew's in—Tupai is out there waiting. Heart-shaped. Empty. Whispering: "Come find me."
We’re setting sail in February 2026—starting in Raiatea, floating through paradise, and seeing where the wind takes us. Want to join the crew? Check out our Bora Bora trip information. Tupai might just be on our horizon.
